These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement governing your use of the Vokibi mobile application ("the Service"). By using Vokibi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service
Vokibi is a mobile application that helps you learn English vocabulary using a spaced repetition algorithm (SM-2). The Service offers both free and paid (premium subscription) features.
3. Account Creation and Age Requirement
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Accounts can be created via Google or Apple OAuth, or anonymously.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
When using Vokibi, you agree NOT to:
- Use the Service in violation of laws, public order, or these Terms
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service
- Reverse engineer, access the source code, or create derivative works
- Access the Service using automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.)
- Access another user's account without authorization
- Upload content that may harm other users or the Service
5. Intellectual Property
The Vokibi application, logo, content, vocabulary database, stories, and all source code are owned by Merve Erdöl and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Content you create (saved words, notebooks, etc.) is yours. You grant us a limited license to perform the technical operations necessary to provide the Service (storage, synchronization, display).
6. Premium Subscription
6.1. Purchase and Payment
You can purchase a premium subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments are processed by the respective platform provider (Apple or Google); Vokibi does not collect or store your payment information.
6.2. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew for the period you selected (monthly, yearly, etc.) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal amount is charged to your account within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
6.3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings or Google Play account settings. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
6.4. Refund Policy
Refund requests are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play. Vokibi cannot directly process refunds; you must contact the relevant platform for refund requests.
7. Account Deletion and Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Once deleted, your data is removed from our systems within the period specified in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.
8. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or its features, with or without notice. If the Service is discontinued, a refund may be issued for the unused portion of any paid subscription.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
Learning outcomes depend on the user's effort; Vokibi does not guarantee that you will reach a specific English proficiency level or pass any particular exam.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Merve Erdöl's total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid Vokibi in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free users, this amount is zero.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Merve Erdöl harmless from any third-party claims arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Sakarya, Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes. For users acting as consumers, the right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 is reserved.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Vokibi.
- Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
